Archroma team in place to take textiles over from Clariant

SK Capital, the private investment firm that reached an agreement to acquire Clariant’s textile chemicals business earlier this year, expects the deal for its new business, which it has named Archroma, to be complete by October.

In preparation for that date, SK Capital has named the people who will make up the Archroma senior management team.

Members of the management team include Alexander Wessels as chief executive. He will join after almost 25 years of chemical, pharmaceutical and process industry experience with the past seven years spent at Royal DSM.

President of textile specialties will be Thomas Winkler, currently head of the textile business unit at Clariant.
