Crocs to mark International Comfort Day

18/09/2013
Leisure footwear brand Crocs has reported some of the results of a study it commissioned into what makes people feel comfortable.

Carried out by Wakefield Research, the study of 1,000 adults in the US found that 65% of people who took part supported Crocs’ idea of declaring September 28 as International Comfort Day to allow them to take a break from things that cause social or physical discomfort.

To mark the day, Crocs will give away 15,000 pairs of its shoes “to help spread some comfort” to people in need. It has also committed to celebrating the day in its stores, inviting consumers unfamiliar with the feel of its footwear to try a pair on, and if they choose to buy, there will be a special Comfort Day discount.
