Lightest Mexican football jersey with adidas adizero

The Mexican Football Federation unveiled the national team’s latest kit during its FIFA World Cup Qualifier against Panama at the Estadio Azteca on October 11. Mexico is the first of the national teams sponsored by adidas to present its new uniform.

The new jersey is the lightest in the team’s history as it features adidas adizero engineering to help players to remain cool and comfortable on the pitch. It has a bi-tonal green base with white shades, bearing the German sportswear firm’s three-stripe logo and the federation’s crest.

Teodoro Husemann, adidas brand director, commented: "For adidas it is an honour to outfit the national team. We have developed the lightest jersey with an innovative and unique design, while staying true to our principle of offering only the best to our athletes, the Mexican Federation and football fans on our way to FIFA's World Cup 2014."
