Yohji Yamamoto designs limited-edition adizero f50
Germany-based adidas has collaborated with Japanese fashion designer Yohji Yamamoto, the man behind the adidas Y-3 fashion brand, to launch a limited edition of the adizero f50 boot. Just 2,000 pairs of the new f50s will be sold globally.
The Yamamoto f50 uses the same technology as the current adizero f50 range, offering lightness, advanced fit and precision.
The front of the boot displays a pair of imperial lion-dogs who, in ancient times, are believed to have guarded the emperors of Japan. This traditional design has been combined with modern Japanese sci-fi culture, fusing influences from the past and the future.
