Grand slam adventurer gives Banff presentation

Norwegian outdoor brand Bergans gave its support to one of its most prominent sponsored athletes, Cecilie Skog (also from Norway), for an appearance at the 2013 Banff Mountain Film Festival in Canada.

On November 2, Ms Skog gave a presentation about her life as a mountaineer and adventurer to a sell-out audience in the Eric Harvie Theater, the festival’s main venue.

Cecilie Skog is the first woman to complete the explorers’ grand slam of standing on both poles and on the tallest peaks of all seven continents. She has her own line of Bergans gear.
