Lectra appoints new director for India

Textile industry technology provider Lectra has appointed a new director for its business in India, with BT Nagesh taking up the role. He will be based in Bangalore.

“We are reinforcing our operations in India to ensure long-term support to our customers and help them develop their strategies for the future,” said the company’s chief executive, Daniel Harari, on announcing the appointment. He said Mr Nagesh would concentrate on strengthening Lectra’s customer relationships in India and addressing the growing needs of industries, including apparel, in that market.
