Q3 sales down for adidas

11/11/2013
Third-quarter sales at adidas remained stable on a currency-neutral basis, the group said in November. Sales at Reebok grew by 5%, while revenues for the TaylorMade-adidas Golf segment declined by16%.

Sales of the group’s Rockport outdoor footwear were down by 4%.

Across the board, group revenues declined 7% to just under EUR 3.9 billion, compared to almost EUR 4.2 billion in the same quarter last year. Adidas pointed out that sales for the third quarter of 2012 received a boost from the London 2012 Olympic Games.
