New wet waxing agent from Tanatex

Netherlands-based specialist textile chemicals provider Tanatex has brought to market a new wet waxing agent called Fibermate CW, aimed at helping textile manufacturers improve surface smoothness.

According to the company, Fibermate CW will help manufacturers make improvements in the speed of production and in rewinding or weaving consistency. It will also help ensure less yarn breakage in subsequent processes, it added, leading to cost efficiencies.

It said the new product is easy to apply to cotton, viscose, linen and acrylics.
