Hohenstein to host nanotechnology forum

Textile-focused research group the Hohenstein Institute is to host a one-day forum on the use of nano-particles in textiles. The event will take place at its headquarters in Bo¨nnigheim on 12 December 2013.

Discussions at the forum will focus on the results from two research projects dealing with the environmental and health aspects of textiles with nanotechnology finishes.

Experts from various fields will offer presentations on the effect of nanotechnology on human toxicology and ecotoxicology.

The presentations will be in German.
