Three more teams sign up for adizero shirts

Three more national football teams have unveiled new shirts from adidas in advance of the 2014 Fifa World Cup, which will take place in Brazil in June and July. The shirts are made from the sports brand’s new lightweight adizero polyester.

The latest teams to launch new adizero shirts are Argentina, Germany and Russia, all of which have already qualified for the finals.

Adidas has said each adizero shirt weighs only 100 grammes, representing a weight saving of 40% compared to earlier materials, allowing footballers to become “even faster on the pitch”.
