Autumn collections include Polartec Alpha

More than 300 performance fabrics, from lightweight next-to-skin, to insulation, to extreme weather-protection fabrics, are available in the Polartec Alpha range. Field tests have shown that the fabrics score well in terms of warmth and breathability.
Rather than working as a vapour barrier, Alpha works as a lightweight insulation that allows air exchange for breathability and comfort during most forms of activity. It maintains insulation values while wet and offers fast drying times.
The brands now running Alpha include: Trangoworld, 66 North, Westcomb, Eider, Marmot, Montane, Rab, Ternua, Mammut, Vaude and Eddie Bauer.
