Euratex calls for keeping textile jobs in Europe

The European Textile and Clothing industry association (Euratex) hosted it second annual convention in Berlin in early November, with 130 delegates from 16 countries taking part.

Speaking at the event, Euratex president, Alberto Paccanelli, said: “We need more industry in Europe, the kind of industry that is innovative, creative, service-oriented and with a global market aim.”

He said it is of “paramount importance” to keep textile and clothing production operations in Europe.
