Berghaus signs up for AlvaForm technology

18/11/2013
Outdoor brand Berghaus will use AlvaForm technical fit mannequins to help it standardise the sizing and fit of its garment ranges. The announcement came from Alvanon, the technology provider behind the mannequins.

Alvanon’s said it has created the technology using data from the body scans of more 50,000 European men and women, aged between 20 and 40 years of age.

It argues that using the technology enables garment suppliers to design clothes that fit more of their customers more of the time, “achieving greater customer satisfaction, brand loyalty and full price sell-through, with lower returns and markdowns”.
