DuPont has announced it has achieved most of its 2015 sustainability goals ahead of schedule.

The goals were first set in 2006. The company has reduced greenhouse gas emissions by 25% compared to the goal for 2015 of 15%. It has lowered global water usage by 12% and earned $2 billion in revenue from products that reduce greenhouse gas emissions and $11.8 billion in revenue from products based on non-depletable resources.

“At DuPont, sustainability is a business growth strategy that has been a driving force at our company for decades,” said Linda Fisher, vice president and chief sustainability officer on making the announcement.
