Growth for EOCA in 2013

Swiss-based organisation the European Outdoor Conservation Association (EOCA), which promotes and provides funding for conservation projects around the world, has said the outdoor industry can look back with pride at what it has achieved in conservation in 2013.

EOCA grew its membership by 39% in the course of the year, bringing in 31 new members to take the total to 110.

In the course of the year, the organisation committed EUR 181,000 to eight conservation projects in seven countries, bringing the total it has spent on conservation since 2006 to more than EUR 1.25 million.
