Shima Seiki to show off virtual sampling capabilities

Japanese knitting machine manufacturer Shima Seiki will have the latest version of its SDS-One Apex3 3D design system on show at Premie`re Vision New York (January 14-15).

One of the benefits the company highlighted in the build-up to the event was the system’s capability for virtual sampling. The ability to share design ideas virtually cuts down manufacturers’ sample-making requirements, Shima Seiki said.
