Indera Mills, the parent company of specialist merino baselayer brand Coldpruf, is celebrating 100 years in business in 2014.

To mark the anniversary, Coldpruf will launch a new 100% merino baselayer product called Classic Layer, and a special flame-resistant baselayer product, the FR.HRC1.

Coldpruf’s new Classic Layer’s use of 100% merino will give wearers natural warmth, moisture management and odour resistance, the brand said at the time of the launch. Flat seam construction for seamless fit and lightweight jersey knit fabric make the product especially suitable for high aerobic activity, the company said.

For its part, the FR.HRC1uses a waffle knit fabric made of cotton and Protex M Modacrylic from Japanese fibre manufacturer Kaneka to provide next-to-skin comfort and flame resistance rated to HRC1 standards.
