New adizero golf shoe is 10% lighter

Golf designers at the German brand set out to develop lighter golf footwear than previous versions, and the new shoe achieves that, with a 10% weight saving compared to earlier adizero golf shoes; each shoe weighs less than 300 grammes.
It has a one-piece fused upper that bonds together five layers of material to give what the company calls “a consistent glove-like fit on the foot”. It also has a lighter and thinner outsole with seven cleats in place of the ten that previous adizero golf shoes had.
The new shoe will become available on general release on January 23.
