France to host new seminar on textile recycling

A two-day seminar on textile recycling will take place at Tourcoing in northern France on February 5 and 6, 2014.

CETI, the European Centre for Innovative Textiles, a new advanced research body that works closely with the network of technical textile companies that still operate on either side of the France-Belgium border, is one of the organisers.

This international event will bring together experts, scientists, business figures and policy-makers with an interest in the management of textile waste. Discussions will cover the collection, sorting, recovery and innovative re-use of used textiles, with delegates sharing a wide range of ideas and experiences.
