Lectra promises new version of software will improve transparency

Textile industry technology provider Lectra has announced a new version, V3R3, of its Fashion PLM software application, saying it will offer garment manufacturers “significant improvements in collaboration and transparency”.

Users will be able to create and share information visually using Adobe Illustrator, which Lectra has described as the “native environment” of many designers and product developers. This will reduce the time usually spent on file management and minimise the risk of working on an old version of a file, the company said.
