Outdoor is a €10 billion industry in Europe

The European Outdoor Group (EOG) has released headline findings from an ongoing market research programme suggesting the European outdoor industry achieved sales of more than EUR 10 billion in 2012.

Brands contribute information on the sales on a confidential platform, providing data for the market research programme, which aims to track trends in the industry over a five-year period. It started in 2012 and will cover the sales of more than 100 outdoor brands in 22 countries across Europe.
