BASF has appointed Faisal Akhtar as managing director of its chemicals and polymer operations in Pakistan. He will succeed Qazi Sajid Ali, who will retire on March 31, 2014.
Prior to joining BASF, Faisal Akhtar spent over 23 years with a large multinational organisation in the chemicals sector.
