Spain: new stores for Sprinter, more planned

Spanish sports retail group Sprinter has opened three new stores in different part so the country in recent weeks, bringing its total to 77. It has further stores planned.

Its most recent opening was in Almendralejo in the Extremadura region. Future stores are planned in Malaga and in Badalona, near Barcelona, which will be Sprinter’s first store in Catalonia.

Since 2011, UK sports retail group JD Sports has had a controlling stake in Sprinter.
