New Balance asks young baseball athletes how they would change the game

The competition is only open to students in the US and all applicants must be at least 15 years of age.
Young baseball players have until June 22 to submit an entry, in which they must say in 2,000 words or less how they would like to change the game of baseball, both on and off the field. They must give specific examples of personal involvement with baseball teams and in local communities.
From all the entries, New Balance will select four finalists, who will be asked to make a video of their stories. The videos will be made available online and viewers will be asked to vote for the winner. Voting will run from July 21 until August 5, with the winner being named on August 7.
