Textile industry can help France become industrial again

The French Textile Union (UIT) has re-elected Yves Dubief as president at its annual general meeting in Paris on May 21.

Mr Dubief, who is chief executive of Tenthorey, a specialist producer of reusable cotton shopping bags, based in Lorraine in eastern France, said at the meeting that France’s textile industry had an important role to play in re-establishing the country as manufacturing base.
