Arc’teryx opens new Whistler store

Outdoor brand Arc’teryx has opened its newest store in the Coast Mountains resort of Whistler. The new store, which covers 225 square-metres, is in Main Street Whistler Village, adjacent to the Whistler Olympic Plaza.

Items in the store at the outset include the brand’s complete spring-summer 2014 range of high-performance outerwear and equipment.

Whistler hosted most of the alpine, Nordic, luge, skeleton, and bobsled events for the 2010 Winter Olympics in Vancouver, 125 kilometres away.

As well as a centre for winter sports, it is a popular mountain-biking and hiking destination in summer.
