Maquinol development means “anybody” can make PU foam

Portuguese machinery maker Maquinol travelled to North Carolina in early June to take part in the UTECH North America polyurethanes event.

At the exhibition, Maquinol highlighted the new dosing capacity of its Uniblock polyurethane foam machine, dubbing it “a whole factory” on its own.

Sales manager, Sumya Diaz, said at the event that a new functionality to carry out automatic dosing by weight means the machine “works as a chemist for your”, making it possible for “anybody” to make foam using it.

Production parameters are set using a touchscreen interface, which Maquinol has developed itself.
