Seamless transition for TNF in spring-summer 2015
Outdoor brand The North Face has released some information about its spring-summer 2015 collection, which it says it has put together with advanced technologies and lightweight, durable fabrics.

Among the highlights is the FuseForm Originator jacket, which the brand describes as a “revolutionary alpine shell built like nothing else”.

It uses a new construction, called FuseForm, and “advanced manufacturing techniques” to make a one-piece jacket with high levels of abrasion resistance and durability while remaining light. It is made from 100% ripstop nylon.

Commentators have said that at first glance the jacket looks sewn, but the use of seamless technology in the construction is one of the main reasons why The North Face calls it “revolutionary”.

Another component of the collection to stand out is the hybrid micro thermoball hoodie, which has  “loose fill” insulation, co-developed with Primaloft, that is likely to remain exclusive to The North Face.

The brand has also put together a comprehensive range of hiking clothing, footwear and equipment for spring-summer 2015
