Ruyi’s commitment to new apparel park called into question
23/07/2014
The proposed Quaid-e-Azam Apparel Park would be a joint venture between Chinese textile group Ruyi and the provincial government of Punjab, with suggestions that it could create up to 250,000 jobs.
Media in Pakistan have said that, despite several meetings with the chief minister of Punjab, Ruyi has still not firmed up its proposals for the site, leaving some to doubt the Shandong-based textile group’s commitment to the idea.
