European Commission representative joins Inescop board

Based in Elda, in the country’s biggest shoe-manufacturing area, Inescop’s board is made up mostly of representatives of Spain’s footwear brands. The organisation usually announces changes every four years.
On this occasion, new directors represent an adhesive supplier and three footwear brands from different parts of Spain. But also joining the board with a specific technical remit are Francisco Más Verdú from the department of economics at the Polytechnic University of Valencia and Timoteo de la Fuente from the European Commission’s enterprise and industry directorate general.
