Shima Seiki to take part in Febratex

Japanese flat knitting machine manufacturer Shima Seiki will exhibit at Brazilian textile event Febratex, which will take place in Blumenau, Santa Catarina, from August 12-15.

On display will be a range of computerised flat knitting technology, comprising what the manufacturer claims is “the most technologically advanced offering from any flat knitting machine manufacturer to date”.

For example, the Apex3 integrates knit production into what Shima Seiki calls “one smooth and efficient workflow” from yarn development, product planning and design to machine programming, production and even sales promotions.

It will offer demonstrations at Febratex of how a number of its newest machines work.
