Shima Seiki will have updated design system on show in Paris

Japanese flat knitting machine manufacturer Shima Seiki has announced that it will have an updated version of its SDS-One Apex3 3D design system on display at the Premie`re Vision exhibition in Paris (September 16-18).

Shima Seiki says the system provides “comprehensive support of the entire process of knitwear production”, from planning and design to production and sales promotion.

It also offers what the company calls “ultra-realistic simulation capability”, which in turn makes virtual sampling faster and easier.
