Clever combination of natural and synthetic down in new Arc’teryx coat

Canadian outdoor brand Arc’Teryx has used what it calls down composite mapping technology in a new coat for women, the Nuri, which is part of its 2014-2015 autumn-winter collection.

The coat has 750 fill power goose down in the areas in which wearers will require most insulation from the cold, but uses synthetics, in the form of its proprietary Coreloft synthetic insulation, in areas that are most likely to come into contact with moisture.
