It says only a few manufacturing steps are required to achieve an attractive garment, ready to wear, at reduced cost. Customised cutting allows for quick, flexible styling options, “all at lower cost”, with finished swimwear with UV protection, sand-proofing, bright colours and good fit.
Its argument is that being able to make swimsuits and bikinis using this industrialised process will make it easier for brands to manufacture their finished products close to consumer markets, offering higher margins.
