“Exclusive, international selection of exhibitors” at Expofil

Organisers described the group as “an exclusive and international selection of exhibitors”. Companies included spinners of wool, silk, cotton and synthetic fibres, as well as texturisers and fibre producers from 17 countries in all.
Première Vision Paris said Expofil has “a stable but high and significant participation for a very concentrated sector, particularly affected by the difficult economic context”.
Seven new exhibitors joined or re-joined the show at the autumn 2014 event, which took place from September 16-18. Six of these were spinners: Turkish companies Filoteks, Kale Iplik and Midas Teksitil, Italian company Monticolor, and Portuguese producers Mundifios and from Indonesia, PT Embee Plumbon Tekstil. In what the organisers called “a sign of the continued strong interest on the part of upstream players in Expofil”, the new exhibitors also included the return, after a few years’ absence, of fibre producer Predilnica, from Slovenia.
