361 Degrees prepares for US launch

Chinese sportswear brand 361 Degrees is aiming to launch in North America on November 1, reports say.

The company has hired a senior team, based in California, comprising mainly former ASICS executives there, including the Japanese brand’s former head of footwear in North America, Jim Monahan, who is the president of 361 Degrees USA.

In addition, the Chinese brand has signed up NBA basketball star Kevin Love, of the Cleveland Cavaliers. For this reason, the Ohio city will be the focus for 361 Degrees’ launch in North America.
