Bergans expands in the US

Norwegian technical outdoor apparel and backpack brand, Bergans, is to expand its North American subsidiary. The company has hired Ryan Pennock as customer service manager and added more than 350 square-metres to its facility in Longmont, Colorado.
 
The 106-year old Norwegian company opened Bergans USA, a wholly owned subsidiary, in January 2012, and the company has seen significant expansion of its dealer base and average sales growth of more than 75% per year.

Expansion at its US headquarters includes a new dealer showroom and more warehousing space to accommodate growing inventory.
