Puma to provide footballs for Indian Super League

Sports brand Puma has announced it will be the official ball supplier to the Hero Indian Super League for season 2014, kicking off on October 12.

Eight teams make up the league and recruitment of a series of high-profile European players as marquee signings for each club, including Alessandro del Piero from Italy and David Trezeguet from France, has boosted the profile of the competition.

A specially designed Puma evoPower 1 ball will be used in each game.
