Abacus pleased with Ryder Cup reception
Abacus Sportswear, a pioneer of high-performance stretch waterproof fabrics and an Official Licensee of The 2014 Ryder Cup, has announced unprecedented sales of its garments in the build-up and during the competition in September.

The technical Swedish clothing brand designed an exclusive collection for the fortieth edition of the Ryder Cup, which was made available to retailers across Europe, online and during the event at Gleneagles in Scotland, in which Europe beat the US by five points.

Abacus products on offer included Nipton rain jackets, Glade wind jackets and vests and Score fleeces. Chief executive, Sven-Olof Karlsson, commented: “The 2014 Ryder Cup was not only a great success for the European Team, it was a resounding success for Abacus with our wide range of exclusive 2014 Ryder Cup products in high demand.”
