Adidas awaits Reebok offer

Business media around the world said on October 20 that investment firms based in Asia were poised to submit a bid to buy the Reebok sports brand from adidas.

The Wall Street Journal said this could mean the end of “a disappointing eight-year marriage” between adidas and Reebok.

Many reports suggested investors in Abu Dhabi and in Hong Kong were preparing the bid and were willing to offer adidas €1.7 billion for Reebok.
