“Unprecedented demand” for space at UTECH Europe 2015

04/11/2014
Owing to what they have referred to as “unprecedented demand for exhibition space” the organisers of the UTECH Europe 2015 conference and exhibition have had to expand their floor-plan to accommodate companies that want to take part.

More than 130 companies from around the world have signed up to take part in the event, which aims to cover all aspects of the global polyurethane industry. It will take place in Maastricht in the Netherlands from April 14-16, 2015.

Among exhibitors are Bayer MaterialScience, BASF, Dow Europe, Evonik Industries, Huntsman, Momentive, Shell International and Wanhua BorsodChem as well as systems houses, technical consultancies, and test laboratories.

The three-day conference programme will cover markets, renewable resources, innovation, flexible foams, PU composites, energy-efficient rigid foams, and coatings, adhesives, sealants and elastomers. Tony Hankins, president of Huntsman Polyurethanes will deliver the conference’s keynote address and Robert Outram, associate director at IAL Consultants, will give a strategic business review.

Last time the event was held in 2012 over 6,500 attendees came from more than 86 different countries worldwide, figures that are expected to be exceeded for the 2015 event.
