Hohenstein Institute to host comfortable clothing webinar

German textile research and testing body the Hohenstein Institute will hold a webinar in the early part of 2015 on the subject of comfort.

With the title ‘Feeling good means wearing comfortable clothes’, the event will take place over two sessions, one in German and one in English, on February 15.

It will introduce a testing method the Hohenstein Institute has developed for testing skin sensory functions, which it says will provide “an objective way of measuring how textiles feel on the skin”. It will also introduce a new idea for a ‘comfort’ label for clothing.
