Materials Show adds California event to its portfolio

American Events, organiser of the North East Materials Show and North West Materials Show, has announced an addition to its portfolio, the SoCal Materials Show, which will take place twice each year, starting with January 14-15, 2015, at the California Market Center in the heart of the Los Angeles Fashion District.

Like the company’s existing events, the SoCal Materials Show will be a components sourcing trade show producer for apparel and footwear manufacturers.

On announcing the new venture, co-founder of American Events, Hisham Muhareb, explained: “In recent years we have noticeably experienced increased demand from California’s apparel and footwear manufacturers, prompting us to expand the Materials Show to California. Until now, California apparel and footwear companies like Sketchers, DC Shoes and many others haven’t had easy access to all the performance materials and components that serve their industry at a single trade event.”
