Retailer Go Outdoors appoints new head of finance

She will join the company from electronics retailer Maplin and will become a member of the Go Outdoors board of directors in the early part of 2015. She replaces Chris Morgan, who has left the company.
Chief executive, Chris Matthews said he was looking forward to working with Ms Webb as Go Outdoors enters what he called its “next stage of development”.
Recently, the company announced record sales of almost £175 million for its 2013-2014 business year, during which it made what it has called “significant investment” in new stores, particularly in larger-format stores.
