Huntsman to increase TPU capacity at Osnabruck plant

Inspired by growth in demand from the global footwear market and a number of other application areas, Huntsman Corporation has announced that it will expand the capacity of its plant at Osnabruck in Germany to produce thermoplastic polyurethane (TPU) in the first half of 2015.

Projections are that Huntsman will be able to expand the current TPU production capacity at Osnabruck from 70,000 tonnes to around 75,000 tonnes per year.
