New jobs in North Carolina as Hanesbrands expands sports sock production

Reports in the US say clothing manufacturer Hanesbrands is to expand its workforce in Mount Airy, North Carolina, to meet demand for US-made sports socks.

Local newspapers have said the company will create 75 new jobs there and increase production of socks under the group’s Hanes and Champion brands.
