Harris Tweed launches whisky-smelling fabric

Working in collaboration with Johnnie Walker Black Label and researchers at Edinburgh’s Heriot-Watt University, the spinner has infused the smell by layering it through the fabric during the finishing process and says it is permanently imbued.
Brian Wilson, chairman of Harris Tweed, said: “The more of these partnerships we can promote, the better for the Scottish economy.”
