Berghaus appoints new distributor for Switzerland

Established in 1976, CATRADE’s portfolio focuses on outdoor, snow sports and sports fashion, and the business works with many leading international brands. The company has 22 employees, along with its own premises and warehousing facilities, and two textile showrooms. It has more than 700 retail clients, including specialist independent and multiple sports and outdoor customers. It will have a dedicated Berghaus team in the market, including a brand manager and customer services representative.
European sales director for Berghaus, Simon Roberts, said on confirming the new arrangement: “The team at CATRADE is very experienced and well connected to the outdoor and sports trade, with a very strong track record. During our negotiations, it became clear that there was an excellent fit with Berghaus in terms of business ethic and brand positioning. Together, we are confident that we can drive sustainable growth for the brand in Switzerland.”
