Safil aims to be first Italian spinner with bluesign certification
Italian spinner Safil has signed a ‘screening agreement’ with sustainability certification organisation bluesign technologies and is now aiming to become the first spinning company in Italy to become a bluesign system partner.

Biella-based Safil, which also has production facilities in Bulgaria, said on making the announcement that it aims to use bluesign certification to reduce the environmental impact of its entire textile chain. It said it will encourage its suppliers to increase their sustainability efforts too.
