BOGS to run UK distribution on its own

Outdoor footwear brand BOGS has announced that it will have a new set-up in place for its business in the UK from the start of next year.

From January, US-based BOGS will run its own distributino, warehousing and inventory management in the UK.

“Supported by a strong team of sales agents, BOGS will continue to push its leading range of footwear to the key outdoor, equestrian, shooting, farming, fishing and lifestyle markets,” the company said on making the announcement.

Vice-president for sales, Riley Combs, said the transition would be seamless for UK customers, and added: “The UK is a vital market in our overall international expansion, and a key benefit of the new operation will mean we will be able to better service our accounts and offer new and current customers a wider range of product.”
